Teacher Bio: About Hannah Willman

Hannah Willman has been practicing and teaching yoga across the United States for over 12 years. Her practice began in her home city of Dallas at a small local studio, and expanded dramatically during her time in Bloomington, Indiana, where she studied both yoga and movement with Alana Radecki.

After spending four years in this artistic hub of the Midwest (also the home of the famous Lotus Festival), Hannah's acting and singing career took her to Newport, Rhode Island, where she spent an intense year studying Ashtanga yoga and Pilates. She is certified through the American Council on Exercise for group fitness, and holds her First Aid/AED/CPR certifications through the American Red Cross.

Hannah's teaching style is based on the graceful alignment and strength of Anusara Yoga. She has studied first-hand with its founder, John Friend, and master teacher Amy Ippoliti. She believes that practicing hatha yoga should be absolutely delightful and empowering at the same time. It's only when we dive deep into our own beauty and grace that we are able to see those same qualities in others!

Hannah moved to the Washington, DC area in early 2005, and teaches at a variety of gyms, small businesses, and personal homes. For more information, see Where Does Hannah Teach?
